Pindle is a location-based content-sharing platform enabling users to pin and share travel moments on maps. This policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected across Pindle's mobile services, website, and software.

Pindle uses cookies, pixels, web beacons, and local storage to collect usage information and enable features. Advertisers and partners may use similar technologies.
Log File Information
Automatically recorded browser data includes IP addresses, browser type, URLs, click patterns, and interaction data. Email tracking information helps monitor opens and clicks.
Device Identifiers
Mobile device identifiers uniquely identify devices and may deliver personalized content and ads. Some features require this functionality.
Metadata
Technical data associated with User Content describes collection method, timing, location, and formatting. Users can add hashtags, geolocation tags, and comments. Public photos with latitude/longitude become searchable through location features.

Service Provider Sharing
Third-party Service Providers receive necessary information under confidentiality terms to deliver services.
Anonymized Data
Pindle removes identifying information and shares anonymized, aggregated data with other parties.
User Content Sharing
Publicly posted content becomes available to other users, searchable by others, and subject to the Pindle API Terms of Use. Removed content may persist in cached or archived pages.
Change of Control
In merger, acquisition, or asset transfer situations, user information and User Content may transfer to the buyer, who must honor existing commitments. Users retain ownership of their User Content.
Legal Requests
Pindle accesses, preserves, and shares information responding to legal requests when required by law or necessary to detect fraud, prevent illegal activity, protect users, or prevent imminent harm. Information may be retained during legal proceedings or investigations.
4. How We Store Your Information
Information may be stored and processed in the Republic of Korea or other countries where Pindle maintains facilities. Data transfers across borders occur without necessarily matching originating jurisdiction data protection standards.
Registration constitutes consent to information transfer and use as described in the policy. Pindle employs commercially reasonable safeguards and requests unique passwords for account access. However, transmission security cannot be guaranteed. Users are responsible for password confidentiality and controlling communications access.
5. Your Choices About Your Information
Users update accounts by logging in and modifying profile settings. Unsubscribe via links in communications, except Service-related emails cannot be declined. Following account termination, Pindle may retain profile information and User Content for backup, archival, and audit purposes for commercially reasonable periods.
6. Sharing and Finding You on Pindle
Users bear sole responsibility for all content uploaded or transmitted. Pindle doesn't control posted content and cannot guarantee accuracy, integrity, or quality. Users acknowledge exposure to potentially offensive content. Pindle bears no liability for content errors, omissions, or resulting losses.
7. Children's Privacy
Pindle doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 or permit such registration. Content isn't directed at children under 13. Discovered underage information is deleted promptly. Concerns should be reported via contact channels.
8. Other Web Sites and Services
Pindle isn't responsible for linked websites' practices or content. Third-party websites follow their own policies. Users authorize third-party access to User Content at their own risk. Pindle doesn't control third-party service practices.
9. How to Contact Us About a Deceased User
Death-related requests proceed through contact channels, typically via email. Additional information requests will be directed to provided email addresses.

11. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Pindle may modify this policy to reflect service updates or legal requirements. Users receive notification before changes and opportunity to review revised versions. Continued service use after modifications constitutes acceptance.
