Chaiti Chhath Puja
📍Majharia
Chaiti Chhath Puja is a significant Hindu festival celebrated in the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, which usually falls in March or April. It is a four-day festival, where devotees, particularly women, observe a strict fast and worship the Sun God. The festival begins with Nahay Khay, where devotees take a holy dip and consume a single meal. The second day is known as Kharna, where devotees break their fast in the evening after offering prayers and food to the Sun God. The third day is the main day of Chhath Puja, where devotees offer Arghya to the setting Sun. The festival concludes on the fourth day with Paran, where devotees break their fast by consuming food and offering prayers to the rising Sun.
