Gedong Songo Temple

Gedong Songo Temple is the name of a Hindu temple complex located in Candi Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency. The name Gedong Songo comes from the Javanese language, Gedong which means building and Songo which means nine. The temple complex actually consists of 9 buildings, but only 8 temples are visible, while the 9th temple is hidden and is forbidden to visit because there is a myth that anyone who visits the 9th temple will not live long, so this temple should not be visited.
