SITUS PAYAK

Situs ini oleh para ahli arkeologi dikatakan sebagai pertirtaan atau bangunan pemandian atau penempatan air suci pada masa lalu walaupun menurut ukuran pertitaan ini lebih besar dari bangunan candi yang terdapat tidak jauh dari lokasi seperti keberadaan candi mantup(kurang lebih 2 km dari lokasi ini), namun tempat ini tidak disebut candi melainkan disebut sebagai situs. Pada situs ini terdapat bangunan pertitaan yang berbentuk huruf 'U' menghadap ke arah Barat Daya berukuran 3 x 1 meter, bangunan ini memiliki cerukan di bagian dasarnya dengan dua lubang air tempat keluar masuknya air, dan pada bangunan ini terdapat relung yang digunakan sebagai tempat patung Siwa. Diperkirakan situs ini merupakan tempat pengambilan air suci pada upacara keagamaan Hindu . . Sumber: Wikipedia . . This site is said by archaeologists to be a tirtaan or bathing building or placement of holy water in the past, even though according to the size of this pertita is larger than the building the temple which is not far from a location such as the existence of a mantup temple (approximately 2 km from this location), however this place is not called a temple but is called a site. On this site there is a monument building in the shape of the letter 'U' facing Southwest measuring 3 x 1 meter, this building has an indentation at the base with two water holes where water goes in and out, and in this building there are niches used as statues Shiva.
