Lads of the Himalayas.

10th September, 2022. While ‘Drilbu Kora’ in Lahaul Valley, met these young spirits who lifted mine back to it’s feet. The trek happens once a year where people from Keylong, Kardang, Billing, and other neighbouring villages gather at Kardang Monastery (base). At around 3am the trek starts with chimes and chants. The senior monks lead the pilgrims. They carried their lunch and took breaks for crumbs and tea. I was offered food when they saw me laying down in exhaustion. As I climbed higher, I was close to divinity. #meetlocals #pindle #solo
