Mbah Brambang, whose real name is Merto Wiredjo, who is currently around 88 years old, still has a strong passion to become an artisan while preserving the culture and art of paper puppets since the 1960s until now from his own house in Godegan Hamlet, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo, Central Java.
