Red dragonfly (Capung merah)

Dragonfly belongs to the Odonata nation. Local name in Indonesia is capung or sibar-sibar. Dragonfly lives in habitats such as forest fields, gardens, rivers, lakes, village and urban settlements. Adult dragonflies are used as bio-indicators of environmental quality, for example to determine whether irrigation canals have been polluted or not.
