The Bird Series

Tall with long neck, razor sharp eyes, long pointed beak, greyish white complexion - the Grey Herons are unmistakeable water birds that waddle in the marshes across India. They nest in trees near marshes, but are often found on ground, standing still for long hours, on one leg, petiently waiting for their prey. Fishes are their favorite.
