π«π’ππππ«π¬ is a Bengali-style sweet fritter prepared with ripe bananas. These Fritters are amazingly good, easy to make and most importantly prepared with easily available ingredients.

β Paka Kola/ Ripe Banana
β Coconut
β Atta/ Whole-wheat Flour
β Rice Flour
β Gur/ Jaggery
β Salt
β Oil
πΊ ππ΅π°π³π’π¨π¦
You can store Bengali Banana Fritters for around 10 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
πΊ ππ―π΄π΅π³πΆπ€π΅πͺπ°π―π΄
β Mash bananas using a masher or your hands. It is better to use over-ripe bananas to make bora.
β Add scrapped coconut, whole wheat four and rice flour and also salt to the lump-free banana mash.
β Add Jaggery (Gur)as well.
β Mix to make a thick batter.
β If the batter turns out to be slimy add some more wheat flour to adjust the consistency.
β Heat oil in a pan.
β Once properly heated, keep the flame on the lower side.
β Now pour a dollop of the batter using a spoon or your fingers.
β You can fry 5-6 fritters per batch depending on the size of the pan.
β Fry the Bora from both sides until it is crisp and deep brown in color.
β Strain from the oil and place over tissue paper to soak excess oil.
β Serve the Fritters in room temperature instead of hot as it consists of jaggery.
