The Tsumekizaki Lighthouse is located on the south-east coast of the Izu Peninsula. On a good day from the startling white lighthouse you can see the seven Izu islands across the ocean. 3 million daffodils also bloom from mid to late January every year, enhancing the beauty of the area. There is a paid car park available costing ￥500 for a day. If you’re travelling by public transport then take the train from Atami to Shimoda on the JR Ito Line.
