Soro village is one of the fishermen's villages that has existed since the 17th century in Dompu district. This village is located on one of the coasts of the Saleh Bay which is rich in potential, both tourism potential and fishery potential. Many of the people of Soro village come from the Bugis ethnic group originating from South Sulawesi, who have lived long ago, and have had children and established Soro settlements in the Kempo sub-district, Dompu Regency.
