The refreshing Garden

As the name says , Lodhi Garden is a park situated in New Delhi. It contains architectural Marvels of Lodhi's who ruled parts of India in the 15th century. This 90 acre garden was named after the wife of the British Resident, Lady Willingdon. Over the years, it has developed into a lush green tree-shaded garden with captivating historical structures ,tombs, bridges and a glass garden showcasing beauty of bonsai and roses. The main sight has the Tomb of Sikandar Lodi, the second ruler of the Lodi Dynasty. The monument is situated 100 meters away from the Bara Gumbad. The architecture of these tombs showcases Islamic and Hindu styles and consists of a central dome and octagonally arranged extensions forming a lotus finial.
