Gili indah Village

Gili Indah Village is a village located in Pemenang District, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The uniqueness of this village is that one village consists of three small islands which are divided into three hamlets, namely Gili Trawangan Hamlet, Gili Meno Hamlet and Gili Air Hamlet. These three islands were formed as a result of seabed volcanic activity on the island of Lombok in the past which produced pillow lava flow structures that froze in shallow seas. The environmental conditions of clear sea water, sufficient levels of salinity and good sunlight penetration allow the growth of quite a variety of types of coral reefs to reach sea level and form atoll islands.
