Angel of darkness "...*** Last year after monsoon i got this beauty inside my house so i made her sit on a broom stick and captured some shots of this beauty . 😄 On later inspection i found that this is a conch moth in the family Torticidae ➡️ Common name :- Conch moth ➡️ Binomial name :- Cochylis sp ➡️ Description :- Cochylis is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Tortricinae of the family Tortricidae All species are distributed in the Holarctic, Oriental and Neotropical regions. In the Palaearctic Region, there are one or two generations annually, and overwintering occurs in the larval stage.
