✨ Information Chini Mahal, also known as China Palace, having attributed the name to its once existing in plenty, irradiant blue and white Chinese tiles, is a prison citadel located in Daulatabad Fort Complex, Aurangabad. Chini Mahal now lay standing in its lost eminence, on the Ellora-Aurangabad route at a distance of 17 kms from the Aurangabad city centre. ✨ Behind the scene ☺️ Chini Mahal is a 17th century built monument, an example of a splendid workmanship, which takes us to the atrocious era of Aurangzeb's reign- the sixth emperor of Mughal dynasty. Adjoined by rich verdure, with Persian paintings and arched windows adorning the walls, stone steps and well ventilated first floor, the double storeyed Chini Mahal stands dilapidated with the fallen roof, which is now under renovation.
