The Parade

Unlike the previous years, the parade to celebrate the Independence year in my neighborhood was quite different. In a good way. It used to be a parade with the colorful traditional clothes worn by the elementary school students, or dressed up like what they want to be when they grow up. Could be a doctor, a policeman, an engineer or even an astronaut! This year, they just wear their usual school uniform, but the message they carried was so strong. “Stop bullying” I think this is a better way to let people know that the awareness of this issue is needed badly. Children is not a play thing. They are the one who plays. Let them live with their excitement of curiousity, enjoying the nature, learn about sincerity, honest feeling, tolerance, respect the differences and friendship.
