The Beauty of Futo Coast Japan

Futo Coast offers the visitor a breathtaking sight of magmatic dykes (volcanic necks). Each of the strangely shaped plate-like rocks that tower over the coastline was once a path of magma. It is located in Nishina, Nishiizu, Kamo District, Shizuoka, Japan. It's a rocky beach with quite a nice calm bay for snorkeling. There's an archway in the rocks that you can swim through to reach some bigger waves, although I'm not sure how safe that is. A few people did it though. You can reach the location by taking the Tokai bus from Shuzenji Station of the Izuhakone Railway, get off at the Futo bus stop, and from there it is 8 minutes on foot. There are also available toilets and car parking for 20 cars.
