Bahubali hills is a hidden gem in Udaipur that many people don't know about. It is quite famous among photographers and it is used for pre-wedding shoots. The view of this hill with aravallis and the badi lake is just perfect. This place is around 1 hour far from City centre of Udaipur. You will easily get an auto or taxi for a round trip. The auto or taxi will leave you at a point little far from the hills and then you have to hike for around 15-20 mins. Upto the hills and you are here. Don't forget to visit this place if you are visiting Udaipur. It's worth visiting. This place is at a distance of around 12 km from Udaipur and near to Badi Lake which is always been a center of attraction and Bahubali Hill simply adds up to the beauty as it gives positive wives of Nature. First take a auto or taxi book both up and down fare with 1.5 hr waiting time as you don't get any auto or cab while return. Once you reach near the foot of the hill it takes around 20 mins tracking to reach the top of the hill. Keep water and light food with you. Sunrise is the best option to get good photographs and avoid crowds. You have to hike for 10-15 mins to reach there. Although google maps will help you find the way, it is recommended to ask the locals as they will advise the right directions. The parking is available at the base of the hills. But the way to top is rough and is rocky and slippery. Not recommended for elders and kids. It takes about half an hour to reach the top. The view from the top is excellent giving a perfect view of the Badi lake. You can spend an hour and click excellent pics. There is no charges whatsoever. Also, nothing is available to eat or drink. Protip: Carry a selfie stick or a DSLR to capture excellent pics. Sports shoes recommended for easy trek. Please dont litter the hills, its already carrying lot of used wrappers and bottles. There is parking available for cars & you have to trek on small footpath. It is 15-20 minutes easy trekking upto the main spot, which is surrounded by hills from three sides on Badi lake. The view is indeed beautiful & placid, & gives the feeling of peace & mirth. Just beware of stray cows which used to graze nearby bushes. A worthfull visit for nature lovers. How the young lady hiked up the rubble path in her high heels for the photo shoot is beyond me. Devi P Devi P 3 contributions 0 Little Hidden Gem Friends Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful! Bahubali hills is a small hill part of Aravali Hills and truly is a hidden gem. It is easily accessible in google maps and there is parking available (~50 INR). After parking, it is a 15 minute hike to the top. The hike itself is quick and easy. I was able to do it in flip flops, however just be careful as some of the rocks are unsteady. Water and snacks can be purchased at the small stall at the viewing point. When we got to the top the views were stunning and there was pretty cactus everywhere. There was also a number of couples taking pictures and trying to catch the sunset. My advice: go well before the sunset to catch the peaceful views. My only complaint is that there is TRASH EVERYWHERE.
