📍Maharaja Martand Singh Ju Deo White Tiger Safari and Zoo, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh India 🇮🇳. The first White Tiger of the world was spotted by Rewa Maharaja Martand Singh in 1951, in this region. Maharaja Martand Singh Ju Deo White Tiger Safari and Zoo is located in Mukundpur of Satna district of Rewa division.The main attraction at the zoo is the White Tiger Safari in which people get the chance to see the revered white tigers.Along with the white tiger the zoo also houses different endangered species and 60 plus species of non endangered species within its premises. The erstwhile Maharaja of Rewa had actually captured the first white tiger cub and named it 'Mohan', which later on adorned his palace and became the centre of attraction. 'MOHAN' is actually credited to have been the great grandfather of all white tigers in the world.
