Ambedkar memorial Park

Location: Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India📍 The park also has 124 monumental elephants. The memorial was constructed by Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during her administration when she led the Bahujan Samaj Party. Ambedkar Memorial Park has been constructed from red sandstone brought from Rajasthan. This park covers a total area of 107 acres. facts 1) It is commonly known as Ambedkar Park but its name was officially changed to Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial in May 2000. 2) The interior of the Ambedkar Stupa displays various paintings of Dr. Ambedkar and his life. 3) Inside the park you can find more than three thousand elephants in sculptures of different sizes. 4) It took 2,700+ workers to complete the Ambedkar Park in Lucknow and 2 fountains have been installed here. 5) There are more than 3,000 elephants here including large and small sculptures. 350 artisans from Rajasthan worked here to beautify the place.
