Mountain Ungaran

Mount Ungaran is a stratovolcano type volcano located in Ungaran, Semarang Regency, Central Java and has a height of 2,050 meters. Although there are no specific records of volcanic activity on this mountain, there are hot springs at the foot of the mountain which indicate geothermal activity underground. The location of the hot springs is in Gedong Songo and Gonoharjo temples, Limbangan, Kendal. The general route for climbing Mount Ungaran is: Mawar Basecamp Trail Gedong Songo Temple Path Promasan Line (via Limbangan, Kendal) The gintungan bandungan Paratunan route.
