Mata Kaushalya temple/ Chandkhuri Shiv Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Mata Kaushalya, mother of Lord Ram. It is the only temple in the world dedicated to Mata Kaushalya. It is located on Chandkhuri village 27 km away from the Raipur in Chhattisgarh. . I live in Raipur, Chhattisgarh,India. It was time of my winter vacation,so we decided to travel somewhere.Then we heard about this temple CHANDRAKHURI SHIV TEMPLE, which was famous temple of shiv and kaushalya mata,was around 35kms from my home far in city.We decided to visit this temple as we heard that this temple was built in water,and was the recent project of our city ,many of our relatives also suggested us to visit there.So we thought this would be perfect place to go. Then we reached there after one and half our and i was just surprised by the beautiful sight of this temple, there were many stalls,so many people also as it was sunday.We spend a great time there with my family and grandparents that was so satisfying.I would also suggest my friends to visit there.
