Taman Dedari

📍Kecamatan Denpasar Barat

Taman Dedari is one of the newest tourist attractions in Bali. The location is on Jalan Raya Kedewatan, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The word dedari itself means an angel. The name is taken from the legend of Rishi Markandeya who saw an angel descend on the Ayung River, not far from Taman Dedari. This tourist spot officially opened on January 9, 2021. Visitors can see attractions in the form of large statues in Taman Dedari. "Taman Dedari or Dedari Park was built for commercial and social purposes. For its own social purpose as a preservation of Balinese culture and customs. We also have a goal to develop the surrounding community," said Research Manager of Taman Dedari, Dewo Ambirawa. Tourist attraction in Dedari Park Taman Dedari managed to attract the attention of tourists with several attractions, such as a giant statue as high as 10 meters, restaurants, and lodging. "The concept itself is a destination where there are three things, namely leisure (a place to relax), dining (a place to eat), and an event (a place for events)," added Dewo. Dedari Park, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali Visitors can find dozens of stone statues in Dedari Park. Of the approximately 50 statues, there are four large statues with a height of about 10 m. There are also four medium-sized statues with a height of five to six meters. There are also 42 small statues built along the Ayung River. Dedari Park access and facilities Taman Dedari is located in a strategic location. Access to get there is fairly easy. Visitors need to drive for 40 minutes to 1 hour from Ngurah Rai airport by car, motorbike or bus. The entrance to Taman Dedari is one with The Royal Pita Maha Hotel. "For buses with a capacity of 40 people, it's still easy, but for buses with a capacity of 45 people and above, the rotation will be a little difficult," explained Dewo. Taman Dedari provides facilities in the form of a large parking area. Visitors can also use the facilities in the form of toilets, prayer rooms, and temples available at Taman Dedari. No entrance ticket Visitors do not need to pay an entrance ticket to enjoy the rides at Taman Dedari, but only need to order food and drinks. "Our favorite menu is crispy dedari duck, roasted betutu chicken, crispy fried gourami. For drinks, there are coconut orange ice, honey mint ice, and dedari soft ice," said Dewo. During the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), Dedari Park can still be visited. The manager continues to comply with government policies by implementing a take away system for visitors from outside The Royal Pita Maha area. Guests staying in the area can still enjoy dine-in or dine-in services during PPKM.
