📍Mostar
Mosque Nesuh-aga Vučjaković
Also known as mosque under the tillage (džamija pod lipom), this mosque was erected around 1558-1564 in a style very influenced by Dubrovnik architecture. Built in stone and covered with lime, it has a 12 m high stone octagonal minaret. It is one of the only three mosques of Mostar surmounted by a dome with Mehmed Koski Mosski mosques and Karaðoz Beg. Damaged in 1993, it was rebuilt in 1999 thanks to Jordan's help. But it remains very marked by the war, since a Muslim cemetery was improvised right before it during the siege. Today, it serves only the great prayer of Fridays and the festival of Aïd. By continuing to climb straight after the mosque, Bajatova Street leads to the house Džemal Bijedić and to the Clock Tower.
