A quiet artificial lake (4km circumference) located in a corner of the vast Asagiri Highland on the western slope of Mt. Fuji. Surrounded by Mt. Tenshigatake and Mt. Chojagatake, Mt. Fuji is reflected on the surface of the quiet lake. At the lakeside camping ground, many visitors enjoy fishing, hiking, and cycling. The sunrise from the peak of Mt. Fuji (known as ”Diamond Fuji”) is a popular sight around April 20 and August 20. Access From JR Fujinomiya Station, take Fujikyu Shizuoka bus bound for Kyukamura Fuji.
