Jungle Book

By no means do I think of myself as of your personal Rudyard Kipling, but after sharing my jungle book memoirs from Peru and my time with Yagua people - I do find it important to share reasons for my travellings and musings. As Kipling once wrote "My heart is heavy with the things I do not understand," and travelling eases that burden, gives us an opportunity to unpack things, learn them by heart rummaging through their bits and pieces! Kipling knew about this need to soothe the aching of the traveller's heart and he most definitely knew the secret of blending in. Yagua people do exactly that, they melt into the nature and are re-born from it again. Jungle book says that the man is the weakest and most defenseless of all living things and that is, as far as I am concerned, the secret to a peaceful co-existence between native people and nature. When we learn that we are vulnerable, nature offers us ways to protect ourselves. A sloth in boys arms is not a mere co-existence, it's a bond for a lifetime, a token of good will to trust someone fully and undeniably. We don't get hurt because of the trust, but because of lack of it. Find a way to trust someone and that's that! That's the point of life and living! #goranjovic #travelstories #beyondordinary
