📍Beograd

. . . Botanical Garden 'Jevremovac' is a real oasis in Belgrade, where you can relax, enjoy nature and see various plants from all over the world. There is a greenhouse, an open space and a Japanese garden, shown in the pictures. It was founded in 1874 at the suggestion of Josif Pančić, by the decision of the Ministry of Education and Church Affairs of the Principality of Serbia. In 1889, King Milan Obrenović donated his property inherited from his grandfather, Master Jevrem Obrenović, to the Great School, knowing that Pančić had problems with the construction of the first botanical garden, who died in 1888 without waiting to see the garden located in a new location. Milan's wish was for the garden to be named after his grandfather 'Jevremovac'.
