Mt. Soputan

Standing on one of the three summits of Mt.Soputan, looking down on a piece of God given pradise in North Sulawesi - Indonesia. Don't be fooled with it's 'only' 1.784m asl. Mount. Soputan is extreme ! This track to the peak is from the Tombatu village in south east Minahasa , the track is of what left of some volcanic mudflows (lava) and sands known to the hikers as 'one step up two step down' and quite slippery. It takes three to four hours from the base camp to reach the peak ( there are three peaks ). It's challenging but it is worth the breathtaking ( literally and figuratively ) view ! #quidebook
