I had to maintain a high level of mental toughness and confidence by telling myself to keep going and remain positive.It was a tough climb,never underestimate the beauty of Mount Santubong.In the end,we succeeded!!!Almost gave up but yeah im so proud of myself. Google info said the trail a little bit harder from Mount Kinabalu Sabah. Climbing history Mount Santubong is said to have mythical origins and a popular legend has it that the mountain was formed out of the body of a Princess who got into a fight with her sister over a Prince and was punished by their father for the misdemeanor. The mountain in popular imagination is said to resemble a woman lying down when looked at from some angles.
