Klayar Beach

Pacitan Regency is perhaps better known by travelers as the City of a Thousand Caves or as the hometown of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. However, there turns out to be a beautiful hidden beach tour, namely Klayar Beach. This beach is known for its white sand and quite large waves. Klayar Beach is located in Pacitan, East Java and borders Wonogiri, Central Java. To be precise, this beach is located in Kalak Village, Donorojo District and is about 40 km to the west of the city of Pacitan. For those of you who come from the direction of the city of Pacitan, you can follow the Solo-Pacitan bus route then turn left at the Dadapan junction. Then turn right after arriving at Candi Village. Continue straight on the path until you find the next T-junction. After that, follow the directions that direct visitors to Klayar Beach. If you come from the direction of Yogyakarta, you can go through the city of Wonosari in Gunungkidul. Continue east towards Pathuk and continue to Wonosari city. From there, continue on to Pracimantoro. After that continue to Giribelah where you will pass the Punung area. After passing Punung, you will see the Klayar Beach signboard. After this you just have to follow the directions. Klayar Beach already has quite complete facilities. There are clean toilets and showers available. To fill your stomach, there are also many stalls selling in the area around Klayar Beach. Other facilities include a prayer room, gazebo and lodging. Klayar Beach is included in a row of southern beaches that are synonymous with big waves. So, visitors are not allowed to swim. But take it easy, there are many attractions that you can enjoy. Call it a cliff about 50 meters high in the middle of the beach and rocks similar to the Sphinx. There is also a 10 meter high natural fountain that visitors can enjoy. This natural phenomenon occurs due to the high pressure of sea water entering through the bottom of the rocks.
